‘Underdog’ BHS finishes 2nd in EMAC swim meet

AURORA — It’s safe to say the cards were stacked against Brighton High School’s swimming team entering the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference swim meet at Gateway High School.
    “We went into the meet a 90-point underdog to Hinkley and lost by 21 points,” coach Carl Diehl said. “The kids did a great job in prelims to set us up for a very close meet. ... But in the end we didn’t have enough depth to win the meet.”
