Brighton 27J board raises meal prices by 25 cents each

    BRIGHTON — Meal prices will increase for elementary and middle school students attending School District 27J this fall. The board of education unanimously approved a 25-cent increase as part of its fee schedule.
    Breakfast will now cost $1.50 for elementary students and $1.75 for middle school students. Milk prices will remain the same at 50 cents. Adult meals will also be increasing by a quarter to $3.50.
