The Brighton Bears baseball team is hosting a fundraiser (chili cookoff and silent action) from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Brighton Elks Lodge, 101 N. Main St.

       The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. The fee enters your chili into a contest and includes dinner. First-place prizes will be awarded for the best Western and green chilis. Call 303-919-0703 with questions.
