Brighton's list of Halloween events

The Brighton Youth Commission is hosting a Haunted House from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 26 and 27 at the Old Senior Center. Admission is $10. A kids carnival featuring games and trick or treat will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 27 only. Admission to the carnival is $2.

    Prairie View High School’s Art Club will have a haunted house called “The 6th Room: Final Detention” from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. Tickets are $5 in advanced and can be purchased at the school or $6 at the door.

    Northeast Elementary School will hold a Halloween Carnival from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26. Wristbands are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Children under the age of four are free.

    Thimmig Elementary School will hold a Trick or Treat Street from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26 and a monster mash dance from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

    Southwest Elementary School will hold a Trick or Treat Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26.

    West Ridge Elementary School will be hosting a Trunk or Treat from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 26 sponsored by the parent teacher organization.

    Brighton Fire Rescue District will be holding a Truck or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at station 51, located at 425 South Main St.

    Eagle View adult Center will be having a Halloween Costume Contest at 11 a.m. Oct. 31.

    Henderson Elementary School will be having a Fall Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. on November 2. Admission will be $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
