Cardenas, Mueller sign college athletic letters

BRIGHTON -- Prairie View's Karissa Cardenas and Trent Mueller made their choices of colleges known Wednesday morning in the school auditorium.
Cardenas signed an athletic letter of intent to play softball at Garden City (Kan.) Community College. Mueller signed to play baseball at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. His official signing was late last month.
Mueller wants to study criminal justice, while Cardenas is hoping two years at Garden City "will help me find out" what to study.
