ADAMS COUNTY — District Attorney Don Quick was honored June 23 with the Fields Wolfe: Journey to Justice Lifetime Achievement Award. About 100 people gathered for the event, organized by state Rep. Rhonda Fields, founder and president of the Fields Wolfe Foundation.
Fields, an advocate for victims of violent crimes, said Quick earned the honor for the “powerful difference he has made in his partnerships over the years to prevent crime, reduce recidivism and protect fellow citizens.”
“I am humbled to receive this distinguished honor,” Quick said. “This is especially true coming from the Rhonda Fields family, who have been my heroes for many years for their work with victims of violent crime.”
Also honored during the event were Andrew Romanoff, former speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives, and Scarlett Jimenz, recipient of the Marshall Fields Scholarship and president of the Aurora Teen Advisory Board.
