BRIGHTON - A Denver man is dead and two other men are in custody following an early Thanksgiving stabbing at a mobile home park in Brighton, according to police.
According to Brighton police Sgt. Mark Kohn, officers responded about 6 a.m. Nov. 22 to a report of two men chasing another man behind a mobile home at Eastgate Mobile Home Park, 3060 E. Bridge St. in Brighton.
Upon arrival, officers found a 22-year-old Hispanic man covered in blood and shirtless. The victim, whose name is being withheld for notification of family, was able to tell officers the identity of his attacker before ultimately losing consciousness. He was then transported to Denver Health Medical Center, where he died.
With the information provided by the victim, Brighton police took two Hispanic males -- 18 and 21 years of age, respectively -- into custody,held on first-degree murder charges.
