Drainage work shuts down Sable

    Sable Boulevard from South Bromley to 140th Avenue was closed last week  while crews installed culverts for drainage, Utilities Director Jim Landeck said.
    “Once we get further east with the project we need to construct a culvert under Chambers as well so the detour will be reversed and traffic will be reversed and traffic will be detoured over to sable,” he said. “This project is moving forward and this is one of those inconveniences as a result. These culverts are rather large and the only cost-effective way to install them is closing down the road.”
