Eloisa Benavidez

    Eloisa Benavidez, 88, of Fort Lupton, died at her home April 21, 2012.
    She was born June 4, 1923, in Floresville, Texas, to Alezandro Vidal and Elena Talamantez. She married Benancio Benavidez in 1957.
    Survivors include sisters, Janie Martinez, of San Antonio, Texas, and Mary Smith, of Houston, Texas; children, Sam Gomez and Margaret Baron, of Thornton, and Mario Benavidez, of Fort Lupton; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Celia Tanchez and Alicia Castillo; brothers, Andres Vidal and Gose Vidal; and daughter, Naomi Benavidez.
    Private family services were handled by Erlinger Funeral Home.
