Fire heavily damages Todd Creek home

The Greater Brighton Fire Rescue District continues to investigate Thursday morning's garage fire in the Todd Creek subdivision. It started around 7;15 a.m. Officials said a passing neighbor noticed smoke coming from a detached garage on East 145th Ave.
Firefighters from Brighton and Thornton found flames and smoke pouring from the building. The fire was quickly brought under control but not before doing heavy damage to the structure and destroying several vehicles parked inside, including a recreational vehicle.
