Letter to the Editor

The opinion section of the Standard Blade is an outlet for you, as readers, to inform others on topics of general interest.

Letters should be limited to 300 words or less. Political letters will be run as space permits, giving a balanced coverage to both sides of the issue. Self-endorsements by candidates running for office and political action groups will be passed on to our advertising department.

Writers must include their daytime telephone number and address. The telephone number and address will be used for verification purposes only and will not be published. Unsigned letters will not be published.

The editor reserves the right to edit letters for clarity, grammar, length, and potential libel.

All letters should be received by 9 a.m. Monday for consideration for each week's issue.
