Man hurt in industrial accident

BRIGHTON -- An industrial accident injured an unidentified construction worker Tuesday morning near downtown.
The name of the victim and his condition have not been released. He is at Denver Health Medical Center for treatment of what are believed to be serious injuries.
The incident happened near Eighth Avenue and Bromley Lane around 10:30 a.m. Brighton Fire Rescue District Chief Mark Bodane said the man was caught in a spinning drill on a drill rig. Fellow workers managed to free the man, and he went to Denver Health Medical Center.
Brighton police and fire units were on the scene, as well as an ambulance from Platte Valley Medical Center. The investigation was continuing.
