Janessa Medina of Louis Martinez, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son, Mathyis Louis Martinez.
    Mathyis was born Feb. 10, 2012, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 19 inches.
    Mathyis’ grandparents are Adelaida Vigil and Linda Martinez. His great-grandparents are Art Vigil and Cecila Medina.
    Mathyis joins sister Julieana Garza, 4, at home.
