BRIGHTON -- The cold weather hasn't had an impact on the water pipes in the Brighton School District. That hasn't been the case in other districts, such as Douglas County.
27J spokesman Kevin Denke said many times these problems don’t become evident until temperatures warm up and pipes began to thaw.
"So we will continue to monitor our facilities especially as it gets warmer this week," Denke said.
Temperatures are expected to get above freezing tomorrow and continue to warm through Saturday.
