BRIGHTON — The results of the 18th annual Festival of Lights Parade — held Saturday, Dec. 14, in Brighton — were announced over the weekend.
Brighton Feed and Saddlery took first place in the Equine/Livestock category, with Promenade Horsemanship Academy & Equestiran Performers taking second.
Pitter Pat Dance Studio took home top honors for Commercial Float for businesses with 25 or fewer employees, while ReMax Momentum was named second out of six total entries.
The larger Commercial Float category (for businesses with 26 or more employees) was won by Cheer Champs, with Platte River Medical Clinic in second place.
The Brighton Boy Scouts Troop #109 won first place in the Clubs, Groups and Non-Profit Groups category, with Front Range Community College taking second in a field of 19 entries.
Firstart Preschool was the top placer in the Schools category, with Brighton High School FFA taking second in a field of 16 entries.
In the Motorized Vehicles category for cars, trucks and street rods, AllState Rippy Insurance took home first-place honors, with Infamous Aircooled in second.
The semi-truck and heavy equipment Motorized Vehicles category saw Mile High Hook and Ladder win the top spot, with Ready Mixed Concrete in second place.
Brighton High School’s Marching Band won first place in the Musical Entries category, with Prairie View High’s Marching Band in second place.
