It is nearing three months since a Brighton Collegiate High School teacher was fired amid allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student and a police investigation was initiated.
While Brighton police detectives have presented their case to the Adams County District Attorney’s office for a recommendation on whether charges should be filed against the former teacher, it remains unclear when a determination could be made.
The wheels of justice grind slowly. But this process has taken far too long.
