PVHS plans military appreciation salute the week of Oct. 16

-A A +A
By Steve Smith

The Army donated $1,500 to the school for new fitness equipment and for the school’s engineering program. The Coast Guard presented PVHS with $3,000 to be used for underfunded girls sports, such as girls swimming, girls golf and girls tennis.

When Prairie View High School faces the Far Northeast Warriors Oct. 20, there will be a military feel to the game.

That’s because PVHS plans to salute members of the military before and during the contest.
