PVHS summer baseball tryouts scheduled Jan. 8, 10, 11

                Tryouts for seventh- and eighth-graders interested in playing summer baseball for Prairie View High School are at 6 p.m., Jan. 8, 10 and 11, at 895 Voiles St., Unit A.

                The cost of the summer season ranges from $350 to $450, depending on level of play. Coaches will make that decision in May. A $150- deposit is due April 1. The cost includes a uniform (two jerseys, one hat), tournament fees, league fees, umpires’ fees and game and practice balls.
