Robot try-out

-A A +A

Lissa Bowen, a staff member at the 27J Preschool in the Brighton Learning and Resource Center, assists two of her students navigate miniature robots during a demonstration by Orbotix of Boulder. The robotics company has developed Sphero, a near-indestructible robot inside a ball both as a gaming and learning tool. Children at the school were learning elementary tasks such as eye-hand coordination, colors and shapes, while adults use the robot for games and writing applications. The program was presented by former Brighton High School graduate Ross Ingram, who works with Orbotix in Developer Relations.
