Sheri Simon bench dedication

Brighton's Rotary Clubs purchased a bench that will be dedicated to the late Sheri Simon at 5:30 p.m., April 30, at the Happy Trails Dog Park, 1111 Judicial Center Drive.

       Simon, who was the owner and chief veterinarian of the Brighton Animal Clinic, died in December of complications from a lengthy illness. She was a former Brighton Rotary president, started the Brighton Interact (junior Rotary) club at the then-Brighton Charter High School and was the Rotary District 5450 Rotarian of the Year in 2009.
