BRIGHTON -- Brighton will host the American Legion B and D state tournaments this week.
Play begins July 26.
A doubleheader of championship games starts at 5 p.m., July 30. Email acerayg1@msn.com with questions.
The Legion C tournament (to which Brighton will send a team) starts its state tournament July 26 at Suitts Field at Scott Carpenter Park in Boulder. Brighton faces Thompson Valley in the 10 a.m. game. The winner draws either Liberty or Sterling Friday afternoon at 4.
The Legion A tournament will be played in Brighton starting Aug. 3. Pairings won't be announced until Sunday.
