Taking them out to the ballgame

Northeast Elementary School students and parents took in the May 6 Colorado Rockies game against the Atlanta Braves at Coors Field. Families and staff purchased more than 800 tickets at a discounted rate of $2 per ticket. It’s an annual event for the school. This year, the team invited a group of students to go onto the field for a pregame ceremony. The students — Paige Barton, Javon Guerrero, Cesar Ibarra and Kaleb Adams — joined principal Michael Clow for the pregame activities.
