State Sen. Mary Hodge, D-Brighton, observes Beatriz Rodriguez as she prepares taxes returns for low income taxpayers. The service is offered for free to those who qualify at the Front Range Community College in the Brighton Resource Center. To date volunteers have prepared more than 200 returns with more than $350,000 in refunds filed. The statewide program is sponsored by the Piton Foundation and Wells Fargo.
