Sharing in that excitement is the extended ‘family’ of rangers and staff at Barr Lake State Park, with a pair of nesting bald eagles producing a trio of offspring this year, adding to the preserve’s already impressive numbers. The eaglets, hatched this spring, are the focus of attention at a nature preserve dedicated to the propagation of the species, among many others on the southern end of the park.
