The tractor flipped over at 144th Avenue and Brighton Road shortly before noon.

Authorities said the truck was turning from U.S. 85 onto 144th Avenue. The driver told police  an oncoming car forced him to swerve causing his load to shift, overturning the trailer.

The trailer contained large bags of a specialty clay used in concrete weighing several thousand pounds each. The load did not present a serious environmental problem. The crash remains under investigation by Brighton police.

Best alternate route is Highway 85.
