Brighton police said no one was injured Wednesday afternoon after a train clipped a car at the grade crossing at Main and Longspeak streets.
Spokesman John Bradley said the car went around the lowered arms at the intersection and was "clipped" by the train.
The car sustained heavy damage, according to police. Police cited the driver for not obeying the railroad crossing signal and for not having insurance.
