DENVER -- Brighton's Joel Hernandez didn't quite have enough to earn a state wrestling title Saturday night at Pepsi Center.
Two moves by Ponderosa's Corry Williams gave him six points en route to a 7-1 win over Hernandez in the 182-pound finals.
Hernandez earned a 6-3 decision over Jack Lindsay of Douglas County in a 182-pound semifinal match Friday night. Hernandez, who is a senior, finished with a record of 38-4.

He couldn't get past Grandview's Jordan Brown in the third round, though. Brown, who eventually finished fourth, won the match 9-0.
BHS' Ray Baca (126 pounds) and Sam Jackson (heavyweight) and Prairie View's Harley Minjarez (195) and the T-Hawks' Alex Munoz lost their first consolation matches Friday afternoon.
