        Grandparents are Jacquie Clark and Shawn Bullinger, of Fort Lupton. Great-grandfather is Frank Simbeck, of Akron.

     

  • Courtney and Lee Gallegos, of Henderson, announce the birth of a son, Sebastian Lee Gallegos. Sebastian was born March 17, 2013, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and measuring 20 ½ inches.
        Grandparents are Sidney Worrell, of Henderson, and Gloria and Nick Mondragon, of Thornton.
        Sebastian joins his sister Nevaeh Gallegos, 2, at home.

     

  • Nicole McFarlin and Matthew Harrison, of Commerce City, announce the birth of a son, Ashton Bradley Cole Harrison. Ashton was born March 16, 2013, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and measuring 19 ¾ inches.
        Ashton joins her siblings, Aiden Coyle, 9, Drake Coyle, 7, Samara Harrison, 3, and Monique Harrison, 13, at home.

     

  •     Nora J. Hickey and Joseph E. Anderson, of Brighton, announce the birth of a son, Eli Jon Anderson. Eli was born March 20, 2013, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and measuring 20 ½ inches.

        Grandparents are Margene Hickey, of Brighton, and Timothy Hickey, of Fort Lupton, and Jon and Pamela Anderson, of Trenton, Neb.

        Eli joins his sister Torrin Jade Anderson, 6, at home.

  •     Yvette Luna and Benjamin Thomas Erger, of Brighton, announce the birth of a daughter, Zoey Regina Erger. Zoey was born March 9, 2013, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, weighing 7 pounds, 6.8 ounces, and measuring 20 inches.
        Grandparents are Teresa and Greg Luna and Rhonda Blackhurst and Daniel Erger.

  • Four Brighton residents were sworn in as Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused and neglected children earlier this year.
        Brenda Chavez-Rodriguez, Karla Fitch, Maria Vazquez and Melissa Owsely were among 26 volunteers from Adams and Broomfield counties were sworn in by 17th Judicial District Judges Patrick Murphy and Katherine Delgado Feb. 28 at the Broomfield Courthouse.
