        Though it’s difficult to refer to Brighton restaurant Lauer Krauts as either a diner, a drive-in, or a dive, there’s no doubt it is unique — and popular.
        And that’s why the restaurant was chosen to be featured in an upcoming episode of Food Network’s top-rated show, “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.”

         After 33 years of marriage, Sandy Dupree decided the time was finally right to learn to play a musical instrument.
        Sandy, who owns More Music for Brighton with her husband Don, chose to take on the cello and has now been taking lessons and practicing for a couple of months.
        “It was just something I always wanted to do,” she said.

  • Chamber unveils new logo, rebranding campaign

        The Brighton Chamber of Commerce has a new look thanks to a newly unveiled logo, part of the business organization’s rebranding campaign.
        “The chamber board of directors is excited to share the new look and services with our members,” said Brighton Chamber of Commerce Chairman Brian Lewis. “We recognize that times are challenging for many of our members, so we have made it a priority to revamp the chamber to offer additional tools and resources to help members grow their business.”

  • Family Dollar to open in Lochbuie

        LOCHBUIE – Family Dollar Stores Inc. hopes to unveil more than a sleek new store with the grand opening of its newest location Saturday at 160 Freestone St., off East 168th Avenue.
        A company press released said the fast-growing national retailer would demonstrate once again why, for more than 50 years, it has become the neighborhood store of choice for value-seeking families.

  • American Dream Realty joins Brighton Chamber

        American Dream Realty has been a Brighton business since 2000 and recently joined the Brighton Chamber of Commerce.
        Ann Taddeo, a Brighton resident, is the broker/owner of the real estate sales company.

  • Brighton Florist will continue to flourish with new owners

        Brighton Florist, a longtime Brighton business, has new owners.
        Owners Jim and Fran Kiyota sold the business, 1135 E. Bridge St., after 50 years of service. But they found a way to keep the business locally-owned.
        Brighton Florist has been purchased by Keene Floral Inc., a company owned by third-generation Brighton residents Dean and Kathy Chambers and their daughter Stacie Powers. Kathy and Stacie currently operate Keene Floral, another Keene Floral Inc. entity, in Keenesburg.    

  • All the Right Moves: KinetaCare takes on rebranding

         KinetaCare, formerly known as Sport and Spine Physical Therapy, is undergoing a rebranding of its services to include a more holistic approach to physical therapy. Along with the new name and focus comes a host of new services for the center, which features a customized, holistic approach to patient wellness.
