BRIGHTON — Brighton will be holding its anuual Eco Fair at a new location this year. The EcoFair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Carmichael Park, instead of at the Brighton Cultural Center, and is free and open to the public.
Events Leader David Gallegos said events staff believed it would be more appropriate to hold the EcoFair in a park and that access to the recycling portion of the event would be easier for residents.
Eagle Ridge swept past the Denver School of Science and Technology in straight sets Sept. 11 in Brighton.
“The girls played a great first set,” said ERA coach Stephanie Hose. “They were able to eliminate their errors and successfully win every serve/receive. Our team had some problems with serve receive in the next two sets but was able to pull out wins.”
