BRIGHTON -- A Union Pacific train and a car collided Feb. 3 just south of downtown Brighton.
The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. at U.S. 85 and Bromley Lane. Firefighters on the scene say there are no serious injuires.
Rescue personnel told reporter Lee Strubinger that two cars collided. The force of the crash sent one of the vehicles onto the tracks.
Bromley Lane is closed either side of the U.S. 85 crossing, as is Jessup Street. The closures could stay in place for quite a while. Local detours are in place.
