Football: Superintendents Cup stays with Prairie View for second year

BRIGHTON -- RJ Ramirez scored two touchdowns in the first half, and Ben Meraz threw touchdown passes to Tavish Whelan and Zach Peterson to lead Prairie View to a 47-12 win over Brighton in the annual Superintendents Cup game.

The cup stayed with the T-Hawks for a second straight season.

Brighton quarterback Brady Jacovetta threw a 12-yard scoring pass to Conner Pepin and a 29-yard strike to Josh Sandoval to account for the Bulldogs' points.
