Are you a winner? Powerball ticket worth $10,000 sold in Brighton still unclaimed

BRIGHTON — Someone who purchased a Powerball ticket earlier this year in Brighton could stand to be $10,000 richer.

According to Colorado Lottery officials, a Powerball ticket worth $10,000 was sold at the Kum & Go at 70 W. Bridge St. for the May 18 drawing. The winning numbers were 10-13-14-22-52 and the Powerball was 11.

The ticket has so far gone unclaimed and will expire on Nov. 14.

As with all Powerball winnings of $599 or more, ticket holders must go to one of the state's four Lottery Claim Centers, the closest being the Denver Claims Center at 720 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite 110A, in Denver, and the Fort Collins Claims Center, 3030 S. College Ave., Suite 100, in Fort Collins. Winners are required to complete a Colorado Lottery Prize Claim Form and bring a photo I.D.; additionally, winners are asked to provide their Social Security number.

Alternatively, signed winning tickets can be mailed to Colorado Lottery, P.O. Box 7, Pueblo, CO 81002 with a completed Prize Claim Form.
