Brighton officials seek input on naming of new BMX park

BRIGHTON – A public meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the Brighton Recreation Center to help determine the name of the city’s new BMX Park.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has received a petition for naming the park Sugar Beet Bike Park and is inviting the public to attend the meeting to give input regarding the proposed name.

To submit a different name for the park, naming petitions can be found on the city’s website, www.brightonco.gov, or at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office in city hall. Completed petitions should be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Office by 5 p.m. March 29.
