Fort Lupton man arrested in connection to string of Brighton robberies

BRIGHTON — Brighton police announced Friday, Sept. 27, that a Fort Lupton man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with two local cases.

Andrew Michael White, 22, was taken into custody without incident Wednesday, Sept. 25. He is suspected of taking part in a robbery at Check Into Cash, 2404 E. Bridge St., about 11 a.m. Sept. 17, and a robbery at Public Service Credit Union, 195 S. Kuner Road, about 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23.

Police were alerted by an employee at a local bank about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25 after a Jeep matching a description from the other robberies was seen on Bromley Lane. Officers later pulled the vehicle over in the Walmart parkling lot at 60 W. Bromley Lane.

White may face charges of aggravated robbery, theft and theft by receiving. Police also believe he had an accomplice, who has not been identified or apprehended.
