Homeschool families invited to learn about skulls in Brighton

BRIGHTON — Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory and the Denver Zoo invite homeschool families to learn about what lies beneath the skin and how it determines animal adaptations.

The Skulls and Survival Program for homeschool students will be held from 1 to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at RMBO’s Environmental Learning Center, 14500 Lark Bunting Lane at Barr Lake State Park in Brighton.

During the program, students will:

• Identify how skull characteristics indicate adaptations for animal survival in a particular habitat
