A new lawsuit that was filed Apr. 1 alleges that 27J Schools did not do enough to protect two of its students from being sexually assaulted by another student.

The lawsuit argues that an unnamed female student at Brighton High School was sexually assaulted and raped by a male student at her home, the alleged rape having occurred Sept. 17, 2018. While that initial accusation does not involve 27J, the suit also alleges that the male student previously groped the female student on school grounds despite the female telling him to stop.
