By Andrea Tritschler

Some residents, business owners and city officials are concerned about an a building renovation they believe is for an opioid treatment center at the southwest corner of First and Bridge streets.

While no one has brought such a project to city officials for approval, a woman who answered the phone at the Brighton construction company Bleeker Construction LLC said that workers at 5 S. Front St. are working with BayMark Health Services. BayMark has substance abuse treatment centers in more than 25 states, including one in Denver.
