United Power officials plan to open a second location at a 130,117-square-foot building at 9586 East Frontage Road at Interstate 25 to better serve customers, according to Heidi Storz, a company spokeswoman.

The sale is expected to close at the end of April on the former Abound Solar building, which has a Longmont mailing address on the east side of Interstate 25, according to officials. The cost is likely to be less than the $9.2 million the board of directors approved for the building at a Jan. 20 meeting, Storz said.
