Victims of tire slashing give back

-A A +A
By Belen Ward

The communities of Fort Lupton and Brighton got wind of the nine cars that were slashed at the Libretto Senior Living Apartments in Brighton Sept. 11. Some of the neighbors and tires stores gave back by helping the victims who were on fixed incomes to replace their tires.

The victims appreciated the hearts and warmth of the communities and the neighbors, so they decided to give back with a dinner for the help they received. Frances Zuniga, who had all four tires slashed, cooked a spaghetti dinner along with help from other victims to say thanks.
