  • Gunner Chance Turner

    The newest member of Kaitlyn Ann Turner’s home is her son, Gunner Chance Turner.

    He was born June 4 at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces.

    His grandparents are Kimberly Turner and Kirk Pelis of Fort Lupton. The great-grandparent is Mary Jean Brewer of Fort Lupton.

  • Aleena Ann Burry

    Aleena Ann Burry entered the world at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and 19 ½ inches June 1 at Platte Valley Medical Center. Her parents are Brittany and Matthew Burry of Brighton.

    The grandparents are Michael and Katherine Carlow, of Thornton, and Allen and Jennifer Burry of Littleton. 

    Aleena joins Damien Alexander Burry and Dominic Michael Allen Burry at home.

  • Kevin Aguiles Echavarria

    Angelica Caballos and Jorge Echavarria welcomed a new son,. Kevin Aguiles Echavarria, to the world June 2 at Platte Valley Medical Center. Kevin weighed in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces.

    The grandparents are Maria Alcala, of Mexico, Crecercio Caballos, of Mexico, Cecila Canela, of Mexico, and Fidel Ecvhavarria Carabajal, of Mexico.

  • Image Summit March 7-8

    The city of Brighton is taking proposals for workshop presenters at the annual Image Summit March 7 and 8 at the Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong St. 

    The mission of the youth conference for 10- to 19-year-olds is empowering young people in the state to impact government and become active community members. 

    Featured speakers are Jessie Funk and Shane Feldman. There will be breakout sessions, chances to talk with elected officials from across the state.

  • Evolution Women’s Conference March 1

    This year’s Evolution Women’s Conference is from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the Bella Sera Events Center, 45 Strong St.

    The keynote speaker is Denise Burgess, president and CEO of Burgess Services, a construction management firm in Denver. She’s been on the board of directors of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce since 2010.

    Other guest speakers are Susan Frew of Sunshine Plumbing, Heating and Air, wellness coach Melissa Healy and Ramina Wilkerson, motivational speaker and life coach.

  • Brayden Kothe

    Kayla and Bradd Kothe of Brighton welcomed a baby boy, Brayden John Kothe on Oct. 15. He was born at PVMC weighing 5 pounds and 14 ounces and measuring 19 1/4 inches long. 

    He is the couple’s first child, 

  • Karson Ryker Dykman

    Haley Lorentz and Kasey Dykman of Henderson, announce the arrival of their new son, Karson Ryker Dykman. He was born Oct. 6 at Platte Valley Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and measured 18 1/2 inches long. 

    Older sister Kayleigh Ruth, 1, welcomed him home. 

  • Emma Itzal Rodriguez-Mendez

    Yuridia Mendez and Jorge Rodriguez of Lochbuie welcomed a baby girl, Emma Itzal Rodriguez-Mendez. She was born Oct. 4 at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and measured 19 inches long. 

    Her siblings Osvaldo, 10, Abigail, 8, and Mia, 3 celebrated her arrival. 

  • Clara A. Greenrod

    Corinne and Alan Greenrod of Brighton, have a new baby girl. Clara Ann Greenrod was born Sept. 25 at PVMC  in Brighton. She measured 19 ¾ inches and weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces.

  • J’lee Lynn Reyna

    Maylori and Raymon Reyna of Lochbuie, welcomed J’lee Lynn Reyna into the world Sept. 29 at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces and 21 inches long.

    Her brothers Raymon, 9, and Julian, 6, welcomed her home.
