 To the average visitor, the annual Heritage Fair put on by the South Platte Valley Historical Society on their grounds just outside Fort Lupton might appear on the surface to just be a unique, diverse history fair produced by a group of passionate history buffs. On a closer look, though, the fair proves to be more significant: one stop among many for a passionate rendezvous community for whom these types of events can be everything from a treasured hobby to an entire lifestyle.
