  • Joyce A. Edstrom-Davis

    Born January 21 1932, in Smith County, Kan., on her great uncle’s farm, to Charlie Sidney and Eva May (Barnes) Remington, the family moved to Brighton shortly after.  She attended all 12 years in Brighton School District 27J and graduated from high school in 1950. She was the cherry and white queen in 1950, along with her best friend, Adwena Gaspar, who was the homecoming queen.

  • Elizabeth (Betsy) Pappas

    Elizabeth (Betsy) Pappas was born in Fort Lupton March 28, 1931, and died March 12 in Loveland.

  • Amy Horiuchi

    Amy Horiuchi, 84, of Brighton, passed away March 16 at her home.

    She was born Feb. 15, 1933, in Blanca, to Frank Mizokami and Hirashimi Sumida and graduated from Blanca High School in 1952.  She married Shogo Horiuchi in Denver Oct. 13, 1965.

  • Rosemarie Glasser

    Rosemarie Glasser, 80, of Denver, passed away March 7.  She was born Mary 7, 1936, in Fort Lupton, to Jose and Rose Avina.  She graduated from Fort Lupton High School and married Arnold Glasser May 16, 1955, in Lincoln, Neb.

    Marilyn J. Van Druff, 86, of Brighton, passed away March 6. 

  • Robert C. Lyska

    Robert C. Lyska, 46, of Brighton, passed away March 4.  Born March 8, 1970, in Hacienda Heights, Calif., to Leonard and Carol (Loggins) Lyska, he graduated from Los Altos High School in Los Altos, Calif., and married Dawn Barendsen May 18, 1996, in Aurora.

  • Anna Mae Leffingwell

    Anna Mae Leffingwell, 94, of Boulder and formerly of Brighton, died March 1.

  • Doris Bohlmeyer

    Dolores Bohlmeyer, 83, of Greeley, died March 2 at the Bonnell Good Samaritan Society of Greeley.

     She was born Aug. 17, 1933, in Wheatland, Wyo. She moved to Denver in 1950.

     She married Eldon Leroy Bohlmeyer, the love of her life for 55 years, July 2, 1961.

    Anna Mae Leffingwell, age 94, of Boulder and formerly of Brighton, died March 1.

    Stephanie L. Neison died Feb. 19 in a hospital in Williamsburg, Va., after a long battle with breast cancer at the age of 48.
