• Bradley E. Hove

    Bradley E. Hove, 54, passed away June 26, 2014. He was born to Vernon and Pat Hove.

    Brad is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; sons, Barrett Hove and Cody Hove; five brothers, two sisters, his stepparents, an aunt and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

    A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the American Legion, 5421 E. 71st Ave. in Commerce City. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

    Dwane L. Piepho, 84, of Brighton, passed away July 7, 2014, at his home. He was born to Arnold and Lena Piepho.

    Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

  • Betty R. Foster

    Betty R. Foster, 85, died on July 3, 2014. A native of Brighton, Colorado, she was born on July 24, 1928, to Reinhold and Anna (Kammerzell) Naeb. She attended Brighton High School and later married George Foster.

    Betty worked for Great Western Sugar Factory and waitressed for many years. She was a member of Brighton Seventh Day Adventist Church where she enjoyed her volunteer work. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and making quilts for her family. Betty was known and loved for the jelly and jams that she lovingly made for family and friends.

  • Evangelina Tovar Jaime

    Evangelina Tovar Jaime, 83, passed away July 1, 2014, in Longmont. She was born to  Jose and Dionicia Tovar.

    She is survived by her children, Victor Manuel Jaime, Amador (Maria E.) Jaime and Berta A. (Martin) Gutierrez; a brother; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

    Rosary service was held Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home.

  • Evelyn Swarts

    (Mary) Evelyn (Nantz) Swarts was born June 29, 1928, in Helton, Ky., to Lawrence and Rose (Wilson) Nantz. Evelyn entered into rest on June 30, 2014. In 1958 Evelyn married Don (Clarence) Swarts in Brighton. They had three sons: Timothy, Kirk and Kevin.

  • Barbara Ann (Coan) Ginther

    Barbara Ann (Coan) Ginther, 86, of Broomfield, died June 16, 2014, at TRU Community Hospice Care Center in Louisville.

    She was survived by her husband, Ben A. Ginther, Jr.; daughter Brenda Jackson; and sons Bruce, Brett, Bart, Paul, and Burl.

    Her funeral was held at Immaculate Conception Church in Lafayette on June 21 and she was entombed at Evergreen Memorial Park, Broomfield.

    Brandt C. Tracy, 78, of Keenesburg, passed away June 30, 2014, at his home. He was born to Henry and Susie (Bell) Tracy.

    Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Heart of the Plains Cemetery in Roggen.

    Paul M. Burckley, 67, of Keenesburg, passed away June 27, 2014, in Brighton. He was born to Frank and Margaret (Kuhns) Burckley. 

    Paul is survived by his wife, Anita Burckley; daughter, Shawna (Scott) Johnson; and four siblings.

    Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. July 2, 2014, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. July 3, 2014, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn.

    Leonard C. Turley, 78, of Fort Lupton, died June 20, 2014, in Greeley. He was born to Quille and Novella Turley, and married Jenny Turley.

    He is survived by his children, Vernon, David and Dale Turley, Doug and Dirk Packer, Sarah and Mary Turley, Arlene Whiting and Naomi VanHoose; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral service is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Hudson, 610 Cherry St., Hudson.

  • Terry A. Chatman 'Papa'

    Terry A. Chatman, 56, died Friday, May 30, at his home in Lochbuie. He was born May 15, 1958. Terry was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved camping, playing pool, fishing and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his family and enjoying life. He lived life to the fullest and loved to have a good time. He will be missed in a lot of lives.

    He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Ernest, and his father, Bill Chatman; brothers Allan and Billy Chatman; and nephew Jason Hartley.
