The bus service from Denver’s Union Station to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park will be available for their fourth year this summer.

Bustang will resume service on May 27 and end on Oct. 1. It will make two roundtrip rides on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays. A roundtrip ticket will cost $15 per person with discounts available for some.

The stops include Denver Union Station, US 36 and Sheridan Station in Westminster, US 36 and Broomfield Station, US 36 and Table Mesa Station in Boulder, Lyons Park-n-Ride – US 36 and Park St. , the Estes Park Visitor Center – 500 Big Thompson Ave. and the RMNP Park and Ride Transit Hub.

Those dropped off in Estes Park can take the town’s free trolley into the city. Those dropped off at the RMNP Park and Ride can transfer to shuttles in the park.

According to a news release from the Colorado Department of Transportation, passengers need to be prepared with food and water before arriving in Estes Park.

“No food services are available at the Estes Park Visitors Center OR at the Park and Ride. In addition, a valid RMNP Entrance Pass is required to enter the park ($15 for an individual pass/ $30 for two or more riders). However, passengers do NOT need to purchase a Timed Entry Reservation Permit, the news release reads.
