State 4A track meet begins June 24

AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association announced the qualifiers for the state 4A track-and-field meet, which starts Thursday, June 24, at Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood.

Boys

100-meter dash: 1. Braylen Fenderson, RRHS, 10.86 seconds. Preliminary race at 8:30 a.m. June 24.

200-meter dash: 1. Fenderson, 21.8. Preliminary race at 12:05 p.m. June 24

4-by-100-meter relay: Riverdale Ridge had the 13th-fastest time in the state (44.71 seconds). Preliminary race at 9:58 a.m. June 25

Pole vault:  12. Lucas Couron, RRHS, 11-6.  Event starts at 8:30 a.m. June 24

Girls

Pole vault: 14. Emmy Kiefer, RRHS, 9-0.  Event begins 11:30 a.m. June 24.

Shot put: 4. Bahati Nibandu, Skyview High School, 36-1 3/4. 8. Brooke Franke, Riverdale Ridge, 35-5 3/4. 19. Jennifer Jaramillo, Skyview, 31-4 1/2. Event begins at 10:30 a.m. June 25.
